Lala the magical apprentice has long heard stories from her teacher about the Sky Palace and its three power gems hidden inside. After her teacher has left for several days, Lala grows bored and decides to find her master's magic wand and travel to the Sky Palace and find its three power gems. Lala The Magical is a 2D side-scrolling platformer originally created for the 2016 NESdev Competition. Consisting of three levels, Lala must first gather eight magic potions and find the key to the special vault which contains her master's wand. Once Lala obtains her master's wand, she can create a temporary platform in the air, allowing her to cross large gaps. Your success in the Sky Palace depends on mastering the art of deftly jumping on a disappearing platform just in time to create a new one during the next leap all while avoiding a ghost that chases you across the level.
