About
Toshinden Card Quest is a Japanese board game based on the series of fighting games in which the player will have to try to collect more than 300 cards to fill his album. The gameplay is the classic 3D board game and there are different characters from the series to choose and play. The game features these game modes: story mode, free play mode, card battle mode, card album mode and swap mode. The game presents 8 different characters (taken from the Toshinden combat series) for the player to choose from. The game uses a 3D graphics engine for the board and the battle parts and 2D graphics for the encounters with other characters on the board. The game consists of turning the board obtaining new powers and cards to defeat the enemy (each player has an energy bar).
