About

Uta no Prince-sama: All Star After Secret is a Japanese otome adventure for PSP, released by Broccoli on March 12, 2015 and developed by Nippon Ichi Software. It continues the story of Uta no Prince-sama: All Star, placing the player once again in the role of aspiring composer Haruka Nanami after she has begun working at the Shining Agency. Music, idol work, and romance form the center of this installment, which brings together eleven male idols from the series in a branching visual-novel format.

The game begins from a more advanced point in each relationship than the earlier school-set stories. Haruka and her selected partner are already a couple, while their professional lives continue to demand new songs, performances, and public appearances. Rather than retelling the academy introduction, All Star After Secret focuses on what follows: balancing creative work with an idol whose career is in the spotlight and keeping a private relationship moving forward.

Its principal structure is divided between the Quartet Route and the Rainbow Route. The Quartet Route follows the four senior idols of QUARTET NIGHT: Reiji Kotobuki, Ranmaru Kurosaki, Ai Mikaze, and Camus. The Rainbow Route covers the seven members of ST☆RISH: Otoya Ittoki, Masato Hijirikawa, Natsuki Shinomiya, Tokiya Ichinose, Ren Jinguji, Syo Kurusu, and Cecil Aijima. Each route leads into character-specific stories, giving players separate romantic narratives rather than a single fixed plot.

As in other Uta no Prince-sama story games, progress comes from reading dialogue and choosing responses at key moments. In the Quartet stories, the player also chooses the direction of a new composition early in the chapter; that musical choice guides the route into one of two story patterns. Decisions shape the scenes that follow and encourage replaying to see different branches and endings. The emphasis is on character interaction and narrative choice, with songs serving as both a story element and a link to the franchise’s idol identity.

The PSP release presents Shining Agency as the setting for the cast’s professional lives after their earlier milestones. The seniors’ material explicitly follows the events of All Star, while the junior idols’ stories depict them as established performers. This gives the game an ensemble scale uncommon for a single romance route collection: the four QUARTET NIGHT members and seven ST☆RISH members all receive featured material, but Haruka’s perspective remains the connection between the scenarios.

Broccoli described the game as an adventure built around love and music, and that combination is reflected in its presentation. Character art by Kogado Studio, music production by Elements Garden, and a large voice cast support the dialogue-driven format. The original PSP package was offered in standard and limited editions; the limited Sweet & Bitter BOX included an After Kiss CD and a booklet, while early reservations could receive an illustrated Kiss Me card. Those extras were release products rather than required game content.

All Star After Secret occupies a clear place in the Uta no Prince-sama game chronology. It is not a rhythm-game spin-off or a remake of the first title, but a direct narrative follow-up to All Star for players interested in the characters after they become professional idols. A Nintendo Switch edition was later announced and released as a port, but the PSP original remains the version that introduced these routes, songs, and post-All Star stories. For fans following the series’ romance visual novels in order, it serves as a continuation that expands the agency-era side of Haruka and the eleven idols’ world.
