About

The player controls Mr. Potato, a Kirby-like character, who must collect keys to free his caged girlfriend. He cannot jump, relying on ladders to move between platforms, and attacks by shooting from his mouth. Enemies revive shortly after being defeated. Once the cage is unlocked, the next level begins. Mr. Potato's sprite is a modified version of Tiki from The NewZealand Story, while the girlfriend's sprite is from Kirby's Dream Land 3. The game has six levels, with bats introduced in level 3 and background changes providing most of the variety. The player starts with three lives and cannot earn more. Touching enemies costs a life; losing all results in game over. Beating all six levels shows an ending screen reading “VICTORY,” with Mr. Potato and his girlfriend, adapted from The NewZealand Story NES ending and framed using graphics from Super Mario Bros. 2's title screen.
