In Pokémon Lazarus, you begin your adventure as a trainer newly arrived in the Ilos Region—an archipelago inspired by the Greek islands, filled with lively cities, tropical beaches, sandy deserts, and mysterious ancient ruins. From the very first step, the world feels different: daylight blends into the shadows of night, and the stories told around campfires hide memories of a forgotten past. With one of nine available starter Pokémon (coming from the Alola, Kalos, and Paldea regions), you set off on a journey of exploration and rediscovery. But Ilos isn't just a vacation paradise: strange disturbances in nature start to appear, rare Pokémon show up at nightfall, and ancient legends begin to stir. Your mission slowly shifts from being “just another trainer” to uncovering the hidden truths buried within Ilos.
