Jungle Hunt is a jungle adventure game where players take on the role of a vine-swinging, pith-helmeted explorer. He's off to save the beautiful girl, who has been kidnapped by a pair of barbaric cannibals. Swing through vines, swing through crocodile-infested rivers, jump over boulders, and then dodge the cannibals! Jungle Hunt was originally titles Jungle King, and the explorer was originally designed to look like Tarzan - he even started the game with the Tarzan scream! The owners of the Tarzan trademark complained, leading Taito to reissue the game as Jungle Hunt. The only major change was the deletion of the scream and changing the Tarzan-like Jungle King into an explorer in a pith helmet. Even later, Taito would reissue it again as the pirate-themed Pirate Pete.
