About
The Taklamakan Desert, also known as Taklimakan, and Teklimakan, is a desert in Central Asia, in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It is bounded by the Kunlun Mountains to the south, and the desert Pamir Mountains and Tian Shan (ancient Mount Imeon) to the west and north. Taklamakan - Tonkoudenki is a puzzle game released for the Playstation & Saturn consoles that takes place in the Taklamakan desert, the game uses a movie graphic engine (similar to the Myst series) and features 14 different puzzles that the player has to solve to complete the adventure.
