About

Diabolik Lovers More,Blood PSP is a Japanese otome romance adventure released in Japan on October 24, 2013. Produced under the Rejet and Idea Factory partnership and published by Idea Factory's Otomate label, it is the second main game in the Diabolik Lovers series, following Haunted Dark Bridal on Sony's PlayStation Portable. Players enter its dark supernatural school setting through Yui Komori, a high-school student whose default name can be changed, as the series shifts from an uneasy household drama into a rivalry between vampire families.

The story begins after Yui's turbulent time living with the six Sakamaki brothers. Their fraught coexistence is disrupted when four transfer students arrive at Ryotei Academy: the Mukami brothers, vampires whose family is said to possess stronger magic. Their appearance turns Yui into the focus of a new conflict, while the game develops separate romantic routes around the members of both households. Ruki, Kou, Yuma, and Azusa Mukami are the major new additions to More,Blood, joining returning Sakamaki characters Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru.

As an otome visual novel, Diabolik Lovers More,Blood PSP is driven by reading scenes, choosing responses, and following the consequences of those decisions rather than by action stages or combat. A player chooses a character's scenario and guides Yui through conversations and dramatic encounters. The routes are divided into the three named sections Dark, Maniac, and Ecstasy. Each section contains a prologue, ten story sequences, and an epilogue, giving each selected vampire a long, route-specific progression within the larger premise.

Choice-making also governs progression. The game tracks relationship-oriented values, including affection and the S and M measures used by its scenario system; decisions and route progress can unlock additional scenes. Correctly selecting character-related keywords near an epilogue can open special scenarios, encouraging repeat play for players who want to see more of a character's material. This structure makes the PSP release a branching romance game built around alternate paths and endings, with its tension coming from dialogue, character dynamics, and the escalating dispute over Yui.

More,Blood deliberately builds on the first game's established Sakamaki household instead of replacing it. The returning brothers remain central to its route lineup, while the Mukamis give the sequel a second vampire group with its own connections, conflicts, and perspectives. That expanded cast lets the game revisit the mansion and academy setting from different directions, balancing a shared opening premise with individual stories. Its gothic presentation, voiced character drama, illustrated event scenes, and choice-led storytelling place it squarely within Otomate's character-focused romance-adventure catalog of the PSP era.

The original Diabolik Lovers More,Blood PSP release should not be confused with the later Diabolik Lovers More,Blood Limited V Edition for PlayStation Vita. The Vita version added new event CG artwork, and the first two games were subsequently collected in Diabolik Lovers Grand Edition for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Those later releases preserve the sequel's place in the broader franchise, but this 2013 PSP game is the installment that introduced the Mukami brothers and expanded Diabolik Lovers from the original six-brother premise into its larger two-household vampire drama.
