About
J.League Winning Eleven 2007: Club Championship is a Japan-only association football simulation for PlayStation 2, developed and published by Konami. It was released on August 2, 2007 as part of the Winning Eleven series.
The game centers on Japanese club football, with data for J.League Division 1 and Division 2 teams. Its roster selection also extends beyond Japan, pairing the domestic focus with European league data reflecting the final transfers of the 2006–07 season.
River Plate of Argentina and Internacional of Brazil are included among the added club sides. The release also updated player faces and kits for its team data.
Players can arrange individual matches or use Selection Match, World Tour, Master League, League, Cup, Community, and Training modes. These options range from quick fixtures and practice to longer club competitions and management-oriented play.
Club Championship introduced Fantasista mode, which has the player control only one footballer rather than the full team. Its goal is to pursue recognition as the world’s best player through that single-player perspective.
A Club Introduction mode serves as an in-game reference for J.League clubs, presenting information about the teams alongside the match modes. The result is a 2007-era Winning Eleven built around Japan’s professional leagues while retaining an international club selection.
