Rectangle Battle pays homage to old shooting games from the 70s. The rather limited techniques that were available at that time forced developers to use minimalistic graphics to visualize a game world and its story. Rectangle Battle is a vintage space shooter which makes use of this old graphical style. Its a very small game with basic -highscore hunting- single player mode and a nice two player alternative. In versus mode you will find yourself trying to hit your enemy whilst avoiding asteroids and obtaining special powers.
