Sylvanian Families 2 : Irozuku Mori no Fantasy

2000 · JRPG

About

Released by Epoch for the Game Boy Color in Japan on December 22, 2000, Sylvanian Families 2: Irozuku Mori no Fantasy is a single-player adventure. It is the second numbered Sylvanian Families game, following Sylvanian Families: Otogi no Kuni no Pendant and preceding Sylvanian Families 3: Hoshifuru Yoru no Sunadokei.

The story follows an Ivory Rabbit girl from Sylvanian Village after a fairy asks her to restore color to a fairy-tale land that has lost it. Progress centers on collecting fragments of a stone needed to bring the colors back.

The player balances exploration with daily village activities. These include attending school, helping with jobs, caring for flowers, collecting furniture, and taking part in minigames and events. A daily curfew and the passage of time shape how much can be done before returning home.
