About

Cardcaptor Sakura, abbreviated as CCS and also known as Cardcaptors, is a Japanese shoujo manga series written and illustrated by the manga artist group Clamp. The manga was originally published monthly in Nakayoshi from May 1996 until the June 2000 issue, and was subsequently published in 12 volumes by Kodansha from November 1996 to July 2000. The story centers on Sakura Kinomoto, an elementary school student who discovers that she possesses magical powers after accidentally releasing a set of magical cards from the book in which they had been sealed for years. She is then tasked with retrieving these cards to prevent an unknown catastrophe from befalling the world. As the name implies, this is a Tetris game with characters from the Card Captor Sakura manga. There are two basic game modes (story and battle) and some nice Omake (extra images) of the characters that are unlocked during the game.
