About

Moorhuhn (distributed as Crazy Chicken in English-speaking countries) is a German casual game franchise for PCs and the Nintendo DS. It consists of more than 30 games, the first of which - a shoot 'em up - was Germany's most popular computer game in the early 2000s. Originally the star of an promotional campaign for undrinkable whiskey Jack Daniels, Moorhunh has starred in over thirty games during the years, including five kart racing games. Moorhuhn Kart is a kart racing game. The game features five generic locations (countryside level, a slippery ice level, a mountain level with dangerous sections,a desert level and the last lap of the Grand Prix takes places in a fiery lava level), five characters and a set of weapons. Player can either try to beat the tracks in the Grand Prix mode, against three computer-controlled players, or beat the best times on their own in the Time Trial mode. While racing, there are power-ups to collect, such as turbo to increase the speed, chewing gum to make the other karts get stuck, and an egg to throw to slow another car down. Players can choose from 5 characters: Moorhuhn, Lesshuhn, Moorfrosh, Pumpkin and Schneemann.
