About

Mobile Suit Gundam follows the exploits of Amuro Ray and his friends and colleagues aboard the White Base, a flying fortress that serves as their home, as they engage in various missions against the Principality of Zeon. Half a century has passed since the world's population began migrating to massive orbiting space colonies. All is not well, however, as a group of colonies furthest from the planet proclaims itself the Principality of Zeon and declares war on Earth. Half of the warring factions' populations have been destroyed and there appears to be no end in sight to this war between the Earth Federation and the Principality. An innocent civilian by the name of Amuro Ray is drawn into the conflict, and it's this young man, more specifically, his Gundam, that players control. Based upon the anime, gameplay in Mobile Suit Gundam is reminiscent of Armored Core 2, requiring players to pilot the robot-like Gundam through a number of missions ranging from guerilla attacks on enemy installations to defending a base against an onslaught of invaders.
