About

Totally Spies! 3: Secret Agents is a Nintendo DS action-platform game based on the animated spy series. Developed by OUAT Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, it arrived in 2007 as a handheld adventure starring WOOHP agents Sam, Clover, and Alex. The game keeps the trio’s double-life premise at its center: Jerry calls on the girls to tackle dangerous assignments, while a lighter story about their everyday lives and the prom runs alongside the missions.

The Nintendo DS release is structured around five missions. Each begins with a briefing in which Jerry outlines the assignment, issues gadgets, and introduces useful disguises before the investigation starts. The spies then infiltrate locations, search for clues, and work toward uncovering the threat behind each case. Disguises are part of the undercover approach, helping the team move through situations where simply charging ahead is not the answer.

Play shifts between Sam, Clover, and Alex rather than treating the three heroines as interchangeable. Their individual special abilities and assigned equipment matter to progress, so players need to choose the right agent for the obstacle ahead. That character-switching setup gives the game’s straightforward side-scrolling stages a team-based rhythm: one spy may open the way with her gadget or skill, while another is needed for the next task.

The action blends running, jumping, enemy encounters, and small puzzles. Combat uses the DS touchscreen as well as the handheld’s buttons, asking players to tap prompts at the right moments during fights. This approach sets Totally Spies! 3: Secret Agents apart from a basic one-button brawler and makes attention shift between the two DS screens part of the challenge. Platform sections and gadget-led obstacles break up the confrontations as the missions move from briefing to investigation and action.

Rather than adapting a single television episode, the game creates a separate campaign for the three agents and folds familiar series ingredients into its own mission format: WOOHP orders, undercover work, gadgets, and the different strengths of Sam, Clover, and Alex. It follows the earlier Totally Spies! games on Nintendo handhelds while taking a more direct 2D action-and-platforming route. For fans of the show, Totally Spies! 3: Secret Agents offers a compact DS adventure built around controlling the full team instead of just watching their next assignment unfold.
