About

Disney's American Dragon: Jake Long – Attack of the Dark Dragon is a 2D action platformer for Nintendo DS based on the Disney Channel series. Developed by WayForward and published by Buena Vista Games, it was released in North America in October 2006.

Dark Dragon kidnaps Rose, setting Jake out to rescue her while fighting through enemies that attack from every direction. The Huntsman also pursues Rose, bringing the conflict between the two villains into the story.

Jake traverses five worlds containing more than 20 levels. In his human form, he uses close-range attacks and jumping to move through the stages and defeat foes.

Jake can transform into the American Dragon to gain access to dragon fire, tail attacks, and flight. Flying stages make use of his dragon form, while training with his grandfather between levels improves Jake's firepower and speed.

The game also includes local wireless multiplayer for two to four players with a separate Game Card for each Nintendo DS system.
