About
Hercules is an unofficial/unlicensed (bootleg) Super Nintendo game. It's an action-adventure title with four stages inspired by the original PlayStation game. The graphics try to mimic the PS1 version, but they're simpler and miss many details, including the forest atmosphere in the first level. The first three stages are platforming-based, while the fourth and final stage plays more like a shooter, with the player riding Pegasus. Most stages end with a boss that must be defeated to continue; the exception is the final stage, which has no boss and simply shows Zeus being freed from the rocks. The sound effects are reused from Street Fighter II on the SNES.
