Fort Apocalypse throws you into the war against the Kralthans, who hold prisoners deep within the dangerous Draconis and Crystaline caves. Your mission is to achieve the impossible with a rocket copter – rescue captives and take down enemy defenses without directly attacking the heavily fortified base. The caves are narrow and treacherous, packed with hazards like laser barriers, mines, tanks, alien droids, and hostile robo-choppers. Precision is key as you switch between front and side views to deploy bombs or rockets effectively, while keeping an eye on the Navatron radar. Landing near prisoners allows you to pick them up and carry them to safety. With limited fuel that must be replenished at depots, and constant enemy pressure, every flight becomes a tense test of skill and endurance.
